Gabriel Sambo joins the Phileo Shared Services team as Chief Financial Officer, bringing extensive knowledge and expertise in financial governance and strategic capital management, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Spectrum Health Services, Inc. His passion for championing local Christian schools and serving the Lord with his gifts led him to the Phileo team with the goal of establishing long-lasting financial operations in Christian schools throughout the Philadelphia region.
With a Master's in Accounting & Finance and over thirteen years of experience across numerous roles, Gabriel brings expertise in financial governance, capital management, data analysis, team leadership, and a comprehensive range of financial services to promote financial health and stability across each school Phileo supports.
From his time as Chief Financial Officer at Henrietta Johnson Medical Center to serving as Controller for Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia, he understands how to support an organization's financial success, from the smallest details to the highest-level strategic overview. Gabriel has also supported The Philadelphia Foundation Inc. and People For People Inc. in Staff Accountant roles, and served as a Program Officer at the U.K. Department for International Development.
His deep understanding of the Philadelphia region, paired with his passion for fostering sustainable financial stability, makes Gabriel an ideal fit for supporting Christian education throughout the area and beyond.
